Singapore’s homegrown Mando band Quis (“奇市乐团”) brings their unique blend of pop-rock to the stage with the album showcase for their latest release, “We Are All Aliens” (我們都是外星人).

In this world we live in, where modern society and its hustle and bustle sometimes isolates, estranges and numbs people from certain aspects of our “human” nature – do you perhaps feel…Alien? You are not alone.
The songs in this album – We Are All Aliens – are inspired by the concept of “alienation” as perceived in the souls of the common man and woman; experiencing the pressures of time, self-discovery, and self-actualisation, all while navigating this turbulent world.
In true tongue-in-cheek fashion, Quis wrote these songs as jaded, tired, and apathetic human beings, for fellow jaded, tired, and apathetic human beings – hoping these songs offer comfort and a sense of relatability as we all continue on this journey of discovering the elusive “meaning of life”.
