A Singapore Botanic Gardens Movie: “A Plastic Ocean” organized by Keppel Land and Keppel REIT

The theme for Earth Day 2018 is “End Plastic Pollution”.

Plastic is threatening planet's survival, from poisoning and injuring marine life to disrupting human hormones, from littering beaches and landscapes to clogging streams and landfills.

A Plastic Ocean documents the newest science, proving how plastics, once they enter the oceans, break up into small particulates that enter the food chain where they attract toxins like a magnet. These toxins are stored in seafood’s fatty tissues, and eventually consumed by us.

Join for this thought-provoking and powerful documentary.

This event is held in conjunction with SGF Orchid Show from 21-29 April.
