Singapore Dance Theatre's monthly in-studio performance is back with one of the most charming classical ballets, Coppelia.
It is the story of a young man, Franz, who is in love with a beautiful village girl, Swanilda, but momentarily distracted by a mysterious girl named Coppelia. Unknown to him, she is a mechanical doll created by Dr. Coppelius. The magic of the story beginning with a French village fete in Act I, progressing on to the wedding celebration for Swanilda and Franz in the Act III, will be presented. Although returning to the theatres remains a tentative matter, join us for an intimate afternoon in the studios this month!
