Over two immersive days, young designers will dream up an original interior and bring it to life as a detailed 3D model, complete with their own layout, colours, features and bespoke furniture.
But good design is about more than making a room look beautiful. Children will learn to think like interior designers: planning how people move through a space, working with scale and making sure every element fits, functions and belongs.
Through drawing, model-making and hands-on experimentation, they’ll explore:
- Children will explore:
- Space planning and scale
- Interior and furniture design
- Architectural sketching
- Model-making and prototyping
Each child leaves with new design skills...and an original interior model to proudly bring home.
