Lucy Sparkles & Friends provides outstanding drama, music and dance classes and parties for young children living in Singapore

Whether weekly and progressive or for special occasions, classes are held in preschools, child care centres, condo function rooms and private settings.

Music Classes

Lucy Sparkles & Friends music classes employ both Kodály and Dalcroze principles. Whilst no two lessons are the same, we apply the same fun, thoughtful and tested structure to each weekly session in order to establish a comfortable and friendly environment for children. We help them to develop their musical, physical, emotional and intellectual skills through live guitar, ukulele or keyboard, a capella singing games, action songs, rhymes, parachute play, listening and moving to live and recorded music and by playing along on percussion instruments. All of our music teachers are professional musicians who play real instruments and have a passion for working with children in their early years.

Drama Classes

Lucy Sparkles & Friends Drama is the most challenging of the three classes that we offer. Each week we take your children on a magical journey to an imaginary place, called Storyland, where they explore stories and themes through child-led activities, whole-body movement, imaginative play, poetry, song, masks and storytelling. And… if they’re lucky, they might even get some magic sparkles at the end! All of our drama teachers are trained actors and performers with a passion for working with children in their early years.

Dance Classes

Our creative dance classes are held in Singapore and develop self-expression and creativity while increasing body awareness and fitness. The sessions are themed according to popular preschool topics and follow the U.K. government’s Early Years Foundation Stage national curriculum. Each 30-minute lesson includes a warm up, with stretching, locomotor movement and exercises to improve finger dexterity; a choreographed dance; an action song; work with props; and a warm down.

We believe that children deserve the best. So all of the music we use is of the highest quality, carefully selected to suit the theme and mood of each dance. If you’re looking for dance classes that will engage the bodies and imaginations of your children, then Lucy Sparkles & Friends is for you!
